Fast-Fix is committed to delivering high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Our limited repair warranty varies according to the service level provided on your watch, covering specific parts and service plans as outlined below.

Warranty by Service Type

  • Quartz Watch Overhaul or Repair: 1-year coverage from the date of invoice.
  • Mechanical or Automatic Watch Overhaul or Repair: 1-year coverage from the date of invoice; this warranty covers only the parts installed at the time of repair.
  • Solar or Kinetic Watch Capacitor Replacement: The capacitor/battery is covered for 1 year from the date of invoice.

Watch Battery Service Plans

  • One-Time Battery Service: Warrantied for 6 months from the date of invoice.
  • 5-Year Battery Service: Covers free battery replacement for 5 years from the date of invoice. This warranty provides replacement batteries during this period, not a 5-year battery life guarantee.
  • Lifetime Battery Service: Covers free battery replacement for the lifetime of the watch. This warranty provides battery replacements for the life of the watch, not a lifetime battery guarantee.

Note: As quartz watches age, they may require a full overhaul or repair, which is a separate and extensive service outside of a Watch Battery Service Plan.

Parts Replacement Warranty

Parts replaced during the service are warranted to be free from defects. If a part is found to be defective, Fast-Fix will replace it at no charge. This warranty applies only to parts replaced during the service and does not cover parts that were not replaced, nor does it extend to labor. While Fast-Fix uses only high-quality parts from reputable suppliers, Fast-Fix cannot manufacture parts and therefore cannot guarantee the quality of the parts used. Any damage caused by defective parts is not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

Our limited warranty does not cover the following items and issues:

  • Balance Staffs
  • Crystals
  • Crowns and Stems
  • Damage from abuse, neglect, modification, or shock
  • Damage caused by defective parts
  • Parts not replaced by Fast-Fix
  • Repairs made or watches opened by anyone other than Fast-Fix
  • Water Damage
  • Watch Bracelets and Bands

Water Resistance

If you purchase pressure testing, we will verify your watch meets the applicable ISO standards for water resistance before it leaves Fast-Fix. However, we cannot guarantee water resistance after the watch leaves our store, as conditions outside our control may impact water resistance.

Actions That Void the Warranty

Engaging in any of the following activities will void the warranty and may severely damage your watch:

  • Exposing your watch to oils, solvents, or chemicals like chlorine
  • Showering, hot-tubbing, or sauna use with your watch on
  • Leaving the screw-down crown unscrewed before submerging in any liquid
  • Operating push buttons or the crown underwater
  • Opening the watch or having another company service it
  • Exposing your watch to extreme vibrations, such as from using a chainsaw or lawn mower
  • Dropping your watch onto a hard surface or running over it with a vehicle

Note: Even the original manufacturer will not warranty a watch in these instances.

Cases Where Full Repair and Accuracy May Not Be Possible

In certain cases, even after comprehensive repair, a watch may not achieve precise regulation or full functionality. This is more common in vintage watches, neglected or severely damaged pieces, or those previously serviced improperly. Fast-Fix will work with you to achieve the best possible outcome, contingent on the watch’s condition.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty applies solely to the original repair service and does not extend to any additional warranty work. Once a warranty repair is performed, no further warranty is provided.

Please Note: Documentation provided upon the return of your watch may contain additional restrictions or modifications based on your watch’s specific condition, and the warranty provided with your watch supersedes the above.

At Fast-Fix, we stand by the quality of our work and are proud to offer a limited repair warranty according to the level of service provided on your jewelry. Please review the terms of our warranty coverage and exclusions below.

Warranty Coverage

  • Jewelry Repairs: Our repairs are warrantied for one (1) year from the date of invoice.

Exclusions of Warranty

The following items and situations are not covered under this limited warranty:

  • Rhodium Plating: Rhodium plating is not covered under warranty.
  • Non-Precious Metals: Repairs on non-precious metals are not warrantied.
  • Unsoldered Findings: Warranty does not cover findings that have not been soldered.
  • Damage from Abuse, Neglect, Modification, or Shock: Any damage caused by improper use or handling is not covered.

  • Elastic-Strung Beads: Beads strung or restrung on elastic cord are not covered under warranty.
  • Unrepaired Portions: If a customer declines some of the recommended repairs, only the approved repairs will be completed, and the warranty will not extend to partial repairs.

Actions That Void the Warranty

Engaging in any of the following activities will void the warranty and may damage your jewelry:

  • Exposing jewelry to oils, solvents, or harsh chemicals
  • Running jewelry through a washer or dryer cycle
  • Dropping jewelry from a height or onto a hard surface
  • Running over jewelry with a vehicle
  • Wearing jewelry 24/7, while sleeping, or during strenuous activities (e.g., gym workouts, rock climbing, gardening)
  • Having another jeweler work on the item

Cases Where Full Repair May Not Be Possible

In certain cases, complete repair or full security may not be achievable, even with proper care and attention. This is especially true for vintage pieces, jewelry that has been neglected or severely damaged, or items that have been improperly repaired elsewhere. Fast-Fix will work with you to achieve the best possible result given the condition of your piece, as long as you’re willing to collaborate on the outcome.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty applies only to the original repair service as indicated on your Work Order and does not extend past any warranty repair performed. Once a warranty repair is completed, no further warranty is provided.

Please Note: Your Work Order may include disclaimers specific to the condition of your jewelry, which will supersede our standard warranty.
